Mr. Joshua Fuller

Joshua Fuller is certified through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) as a Health Education Specialist.  He was born and raised in rural Oklahoma and currently resides in the United States.  He holds a Bachelor of Physiology-Medical Sciences, a Master of International Business Administration, and a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion. He has 14 years experience in operations management and 11 years in health education and advocacy including non-profit and global diplomacy work.  He served in the U.S. Peace Corps from 2016-2018 and volunteered in various health initiatives, involving partnerships with the American Cancer Society and the United Nations. He values teamwork and discovering the potential in collaborative evidence-based efforts and collective change.

The bonding theme that drives his career is to improve other’s quality of life through health system development. He started his public health work in coalition-building in Tulsa, Oklahoma with the Tulsa Health Department before moving to Belize to serve as a Peace Corps community health educator. During this time he worked with many for-profit and nonprofit organizations, foreign departments of government, NGOs, educational institutions, and rural community businesses. This promotional and programmatic work increased his interest and awareness of the importance of ecosystem protection and the connection between human wellness and international policy development in human waste management. In future endeavors he looks forward to the continued cultivation of his skills as a synergizing agent to work with the diverse stakeholders that exist in global wellness.

In his pastime he enjoys staying active outdoors wherever and whenever possible, often hiking and cycling. Spending much of his free time as a hobby fitness trainer he can be found at the gym nearly everyday. Creative arts such as music, dance, and cooking inspire and motivate him. Traveling is in his blood and he continually explores new destinations and strives to learn more about other cultures so as to grow in a better awareness of how to live life to the fullest.
