India

Silica Kole lives in India, a huge country in terms of landscape, flora, and fauna. She has had the opportunity to move around my country a lot. Due to this extensive travel opportunity, she has developed a deep understanding of the cultural and socio-economic aspects of several places in India and some parts of the world. Silica Kole has always been drawn to Nature and its alluring beauty. When she is among beautiful landscapes, She feels a sense of calm.

Silica has a master's degree in Engineering. She has years of teaching and research experience in Computer Science Engineering. She chose Technical Teaching as a Career at the age of 24, right after her Master of Technology in Computer Science Engineering. Currently, she works as an Assistant Professor at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, Affiliated to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India (under UGC Govt. of India). In her eight years of a teaching career, she has had the opportunity to teach and interact with more than 1500 undergrad students. She worked on several Computer Engineering based Projects on Topics like Image Processing, Network Security, Computer Networks, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.

Silica had published a few Research Papers in some prominent International Journals. What she likes most about her job is the chance to keep up with Technology and the Interaction with bright young minds. Silica Kole is planning to start her Ph.D. soon in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Humans are a part of Nature, but lately, we are finding ourselves disconnected from Nature and Environment, as we are continually attaining technology-based connectedness. Maintaining and Preserving Nature has become not only our most significant duty as humankind but also a must for our present and future sustainability. Silica feels the same technology that is shrinking the world, and bringing people from the far end of the Earth closer can be a catalyst of change for us to treat Nature with the Respect it deserves.

Silica Kole has chosen to write about Marine Debris as Oceans are the greatest resource on Earth, with our Planet itself being called the only Blue Planet in our Galaxy. Oceans need to be clean and free from non-biodegradable waste. All Human Made non-biodegradable waste must have a management system so that they do not end up in our life-giving oceans. Silica will also write about Renewable Energies. Renewable Energies are our future for the growing energy needs of Humankind. Humans have needed some form of energy since the beginning. Silica will write about Air Pollution and its deadly effects on our health. Air Pollution is the modern-day highly potent slow poison which can end civilizations by weakening us mentally and physically.

Silica Kole is grateful and honored to be part of this Research Group at GWCN, who will talk and write about our Nature, its impending problems, and the probable solutions.
